Today’s Earworm is “Lemon Tree” by Trini Lopez

Trini Lopez talks about the lemon tree. And so does Georgi Kisyov. And so do I. With good reason, as it turns out.

“Lemon Tree” by Trini Lopez.

Why is this song my morning earworm? Because of something Georgi Kisyov wrote.

“But about two months ago, one of my friends on Facebook wrote something that made me stop.

“’If life gives you a lemon, plant a lemon tree.‘

“Making lemonade changes what we have.

“Planting the lemon asks what it can become.”

More here, including what to do with the lemons that the tree produces.

But now you’re asking me, “John, what does this have to do with B2B sales?”

Well, I’ll argue that it all has to do with repeatable processes. If you’ve established a routine that governs how you do something, then it’s easier to do it in the future. Whether it’s growing lemons on a tree, catching fish with a fishing pole, or performing actionable analysis for identity, biometric, and technology firms.

Impossible?

Yes I had to go there. It’s my process.
